Chrysanthemum flowers are said to hold a powerful plant chemical compound known as pyrethrum which is known to damage nervous system of insects and bugs.  All you need to do is to boil some dried flowers in to a pan full of water for about 20 minutes. Strain, cool and add it into your spray bottle. This solution can be stored up to two months and you can add neem oil to make it more potent.
